northwest tass

Hi all,

Still on the northwest coast. Went out to rocky cape national park today, beautiful spot but no camping sings everywhere. They have a small group of houses and a new one being built near a beach, nobody about so we are parked in their front yard looking like a delivery truck. Good camp for the night.

some nice camp spots

toby would love this sandpit

  1. These pics are amazing!!! Looks beautiful. What is the temperature like down there? We're getting mid to high 30's here, Bruce is loving having his own secret garden to wander through ;)

  2. Heck the temp has been 6_19 crazy. We the only ones walking around in thermal gear so again we stand out like dogs nuts. But daddy looks like a local mountain man and his beard blends in with the best of them. The wind is the hardest to deal with but today the sun is shining the sky is blue as. At the moment we are having coffee high up at the lighthouse on Rocky Cape overlooking the rugged coast with aboriginal caves in the cliffs off to the east and nothing in sight off to the left just what seems like endless ocean. This is the north west coast and we are heading further west today in the hope we get to chairlift to the NUT near Stanley, check maps.......
