Gidday all,

Now in Denmark, driving on smaller roads and the pace slower. Going through lovely little villages, houses with thatched roofs and winding little streets. Keeping to the west coast for now, will cross over eventually and head into Sweden via Copenhagen. But will have a good look around here first.

Gidday all,

Just outside Hannover Germany parked up at an autohoff for the night. Stopped in at a small town, don’t know where, and got a sim card so can connect to web better. Only about 300k to the Denmark border, has been raining for the last two days, not so bad as we’ve been sticking to the Motorways to get through Germany. So many trucks and cars, will be glad to get onto smaller roads, a bit boring on Motorways too. Anyhow Denmark here we come.

Hi all
all is well with the adventure so far we are well into Germany now and all is good with the car and driving except the gps took us through Zurich the first day no problems though. A change of rout. The owner of the car wasn't sure about taking the car to Morocco so respecting his wishes we are going to Denmark Sweeden Finland and back. That's the plan so far. Have to get a simcard for cheaper Internet. Hope to do that today. Photos will follow. Love to all.

Spent a lovely afternoon with sandy at his place, sat and talked and had a few beers, he had the day off. Met Justina when she came home from work.
Probably take possession of our combi today, make sure all's right and head off in the next couple of days. Morocco here we come.

Gidday all,

A good flight from Abu Dhabi to Zürich, mainly because there were some spare seats over from us so Din stretched out on them and slept most of the way. We were greeted at the airport by Sandy, a welcome sight, he put us on the train to Shwiss, as he had to go to work. On the way, looking out the window, it felt like coming home. Will meet up with Sandy tomorrow to catch up properly.

So starts our European adventure.

Here we sit on the 20th floor of the Mecure hotel in Abu Dhabi. Its 7:00am on Wednesday I think. Got in from Singapore about 1:45am Abu time. Leave at 2:30am Thursday.
Didn't do much at Singapore, Din needed rest, but plan to explore on way home. Longer stay in Abu so can take our time.

Giddy all,
Well we survived the 8hr flight to Singapore, Din just made it, we got guided through immigration and customs by a lovely lady who pushed the wheelchair they gave Din, must have been a couple of K through the airport. Anyway we at the hotel now and Din is snoring on the bed next to me.
Will have a good rest and probably explore tomorrow, nearly 10:00pm now anyway. Have all day tomorrow and leave for Abu Dhabi around 8:00pm.
Photos to follow when I figure how to get them off the phone.

Gidday all,
Well into QLD now, stopped into Nerang to visit Katie briefly and headed on, then to Hervey Bay to call in on another friend. Next, up to the wilderness and catch up with other friends and on to Mackay, then home to prepare for Europe. Busy times ahead.

Gidday all,

Tomorrow we roll into our own backyard, just about to cross the border into Queensland at Goondiwindi. Went through Bathurst then detoured to Lithgow to visit a friend, it was her birthday so we calibrated with her and moved on to Dubbo, just before town where we pulled up for the night and I discovered a rear tyre was worn out and about to blow, so into town the next morning  and another tyre later we were on the road again. Through Narrabri and Moree and here we sit.

Gidday all,

This morning we sit in Cowra NSW, a couple of days of driving through Victoria and southern NSW making some miles, so no photos to show yet.

Outside Melbourne stopped in Wonthaggi and visited some friends for the night, was good to catch up. Then eastward to Cann River and up over the border and through Cooma to Canberra where we stocked up with supplies and moved on to Cowra. We were going to detour up to the Snowy Mountains but decided to leave that to a future trip as we do really have to get home.

Gidday all,

Well as the sun rises over Tasmania we prepare for the last day on the island state. We roll onto the ferry at about 7:00pm tonight. The weather report says it should be a pretty calm crossing, here’s hoping.

Spent the last few days back up at Loongana, can’t thank our new friends enough for their hospitality and help. Will be back in the future for sure.

Tasmania is a must for everyone to explore, so beautiful and friendly, wild and untamed in the best places.

Still a way to go till we get home though, still have to pick a route to Queensland. Next adventure coming up.

Gidday all,

On the road headed north again, woke up to ice on the windscreen so popped the trusty thermometer out the window, -3 was the reading,  on went the heater.

Time is counting down, only 13 days left of our Tasmanian adventure. Will head out of the hills to a larger centre to arrange some things for our Europe trip in July and then a farewell visit to Loongana.

Gidday all,

From the caves we headed west into the walls of Jerusalem national park, another great drive. A six hour walk is required to see the best part, so we enjoyed where we were. Onwards to Cradle mountain national park, long walks also required, and the helicopter ride was outside our budget, so we had a good look around and headed on westward. Coming over the mountains at 900m we drove through some light snowfall. At the moment camped up at Mackintosh dam.
